Morgan Stanley Credit Cards are becoming ever more popular. They offer two types of credit card: The Platinum Credit Card, and the Morgan Stanley Buy & Fly Credit Card. The Buy And Fly  card offers 0% purchases and balance transfers but the platinum uniquely offers 5.9% for life on balance transfers - conditions apply as below. All the cards offer a similar standard variable interest rate. The Platinum Card, however, offers Cashback as well as an interest free period....possibly the only credit card in the UK to offer both of these features simultaneously.

  • Standard Variable Rate - Typical 15.9% APR Variable
  • 3.9% on balance transfers until 01/07/2010 - 1% fee min charge £3 max charge £50 - Standard Variable Rate Applies Thereafter.
  • 15.9% APR on Purchases.
  • Cashback paid yearly The Cashback Bonus award is 1% of the first £2000 of Purchases and 0.5% of all other Purchases (up to your credit limit) made in a particular year. From the date your account is open, up to and including 1st March 2007, you get triple the amount of Cashback Bonus award you earn. There is a £20,000 cap on purchase spend for earning Cashback.
  • 23.9% Per Annum on cash advances.  2% handling fee or £2 whichever is greater.
  • No annual fee
  • Manage account online. View statements, transfer balances and pay your bill
  • Secure card for internet purchases
  • 2.75% Foreign usage fee
  • Card protection and card payment protection plans available but not compulsory.
